November 2016 - free admission

Admission to Wawel Royal Castle is free
throughout the month of November!
The following exhibitions are available:
Admission to exhibitions only with free pass issued by the ticket windows in the Visitors Center.
  • Individual visitors: free admission pass to exhibitions of your choice; one visitor can pick up passes for a maximum of 5 people.

  • Groups: Organized groups must reserve ahead of time with the Reservations Office, phone +48 12 422.16.97, Sundays are reserved for individual visitors only.

For conservation reasons daily limits on the number of visitors are in effect. Once the limit for a particular exhibition has been reached, no more passes will be issued. Tickets are not available for sale.

Exhibitions hours
  • Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Last visitor entry at 3:00 p.m.

- individual visitors only, no reservations
- * Crown Treasury and Armoury is closed on Sundays

All exhibitions are closed on Mondays and on November 1 and 11, 2016.

Free admission passes available at the ticket windows in the Visitors Center. Ticket windows are open:

• Tuesday–Saturday: 9:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m.
• Sunday: 9:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m.

Passes are issued for specific entry times.
Ticket booth at the Herbowa Gate entrance – closed.

Guide service and Audio Guides are available at the regular price.

If you can’t make it in November, don’t worry. 
The Castle offers free admission to selected exhibitions every Sunday, 
December through March and on Mondays from April to October. 
Children 7 and under always visit free.
