Important information for Visitors Between 27 June and 31 August, some of the smaller exhibition spaces may be temporarily closed or have restricted access due to conservation and climate control measures.

Please note: during the summer season, an additional entrance to the hill is open – from Kanonicza Street, via the Austrian Gate. The entrance is open from Tuesday through Sunday during the following hours: June 9.00–16.35, July–August 9.00–18.35. Tickets entitling visitors to view the Wawel exhibitions can be purchased from the ticket machine by the gate or online. Visitors planning to visit the hill only will be directed by staff to the passageway leading to the arcaded courtyard.
