Dragon!

performance in the arcaded courtyard | 1, 2 IX 2023
Did you know that "Dragon!" will live again at the Wawel?

On 1 and 2 September, 2023, we invite you together with the Teatr im. J. Słowacki in Krakow for a unique theatrical performance – the "Dragon!" performance directed by Jakub Roszkowski.

Krak will sit on the royal throne. The country is growing and developing rapidly, and the ruler is supported in his work by his children: Lech, Krak and Wanda. When an ancient forest is destroyed as a result of imprudent decisions, the city is in great danger. Krakow has been taken over by a beast, and the terrified people are looking for help. Will the dragon be defeated?

A few years after the premiere of the performance, which took place in November 2019, we will again have the opportunity to watch this beautiful multimedia event graced by the singing of the Wawel Cathedral Choir under the baton of Andrzej Korzeniowski.

"Dragon!" are just two performances that will take place on 1 and 2 September, 2023 at 7.30 p.m. in the Arcade Courtyard of the Wawel Royal Castle.
