§ 1 General Provisions

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”) defines the rules for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data necessary for the provision of services delivered via the following websites: https://wawel.krakow.pl/, https://pieskowaskala.eu/, https://dwor-stryszow.pl/, https://kulturalnybiznes.pl/ (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Websites”).

By using the Websites, the User accepts the principles set out in this Privacy Policy and in the Terms and Conditions.

§ 2 Automatically Collected Data

Without the User’s consent, the Administrator does not collect personal data, but only data that do not constitute personal data, in particular data relating to the use of the Websites and the Application, as well as demographic data. The collection of the data referred to in the preceding sentence takes place automatically (hereinafter referred to as “automatically collected data”).

Automatically collected data do not allow for the unambiguous identification of the User.

Automatically collected data may be used by the Administrator to improve the quality of the services provided, in particular in the event of errors occurring on the Websites or in the Application.

In the situation described above, automatically collected data will concern errors of the Websites or the Application, including the status of the User’s mobile device at the time the error occurred, identification of the User’s mobile device, and the physical location of the User’s mobile device at the time the error occurred.

It is not possible to modify or delete automatically collected data.

§ 3 Data Collected for the Purpose of Contact

In cases where the User contacts the Administrator, as specified in the Terms and Conditions, the Administrator will require the User to provide their first name, last name, and e-mail address (hereinafter referred to as “data collected for the purpose of contact”).

Providing the data collected for the purpose of contact is voluntary; however, it constitutes the sole basis for the Administrator to initiate return contact with the User and enables the Administrator to verify the User. Data collected for the purpose of contact will be used exclusively to ensure proper, complete, and efficient communication between the Administrator and the User.

§ 4 Rights and Obligations of the Administrator

The Administrator undertakes to process the User’s personal data in compliance with the requirements of the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as well as the Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services.

The Administrator guarantees the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the processed data.

§ 5 Rights and Obligations of the User

The Administrator reserves the right to introduce changes to the Privacy Policy, of which the User will be informed via the Application. If the User does not consent to the introduced changes, they are obliged to permanently remove the Application from their mobile device.

Cookies Policy

The website https://www.wawel.krakow.pl uses cookies. Cookies are small text files sent by our web server to your browser, and may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. When your browser reconnects with our website, our web server recognizes the type of device that you are using. The information stored on the cookies can only be retrieved by the web server that sent them. Cookies make it easier to use previously-visited websites. Cookies collect such information as IP address, browser, language, operating system, internet service provider, date, time, location, and information provided to the website by filling out a contact form.

Cookies identify the user, making it possible to customize our web page content according to the user’s preferences and to display advertising more relevant to the user. We use cookies to guarantee the best browsing experience on our website. The data obtained are used internally by the Wawel Royal Castle – State Art Collection in order to optimize online and mobile experiences.

Our website uses the following types of cookies:

The Facebook plugin

This plugin will directly connect you to our profile on the Facebook server. Facebook can then obtain information that you have visited our website from your IP address. If you visit our website while logged in to your Facebook profile, Facebook will register information about the visit. Even if you are not logged in, Facebook is able to obtain information about your IP address.

We would like to emphasize that Facebook does not provide us with information about the collected data and how it is used. The purpose and scope of the data collected by Facebook are unknown to us. Google Signals

For the purposes of web analytics, we also use the Google Signals tool, which is an extension of Google Analytics services and enables so-called cross-device tracking (identifying users who use multiple devices). This means that if your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have enabled the “personalized advertising” options in your Google account, Google may generate reports on how our website is used (in particular regarding the number of users using different devices), even if you switch devices. We do not process your personal data in this respect; we only receive statistical data based on the functions and technologies of Google Signals.
