Wawel Royal Castle invites you on a tour prepared especially for Museum Night. The route will lead through the Royal Gardens, the Vestibule, the Arcaded Courtyard, the first part of the exhibition “Wyspiański’s Wawel” located in the Governor’s Rooms, and then through the Royal Private Apartments, the newly opened Porcelain Cabinet, and the First Floor Galleries.

But that is not all! You will also be able to enjoy an open rehearsal of the Or_kiestra Jan Karol Fyda, the Strauss of the East. In the beautifully lit environment of the Arcaded Courtyard, a symphony orchestra featuring a four-voice choir will play the works of Jan Karol Fyda, conducted by Justyna Zawiślan. You absolutely must see this live!

The repertoire will include, among others, the pieces:
1. “Na pamiątkę” [A Souvenir] – composed by Jan Karol Fyda
2. “Marie Klange” – composed by Jan Karol Fyda
3. the intermezzo “Two Steps” – composed by Jan Karol Fyda
4. the Polonaise “Zaślubiny Polski z Bałtykiem” [Poland’s Wedding to the Baltic Sea] – composed by Jan Karol Fyda
5. “Walecznych Tysiące” [Thousands of the Valiant] – arranged by Jan Karol Fyda
6. “Prząśniczki” [The Spinners] – composed by Justyna Zawiślan, based on motifs from Moniuszko’s “The Spinner”
