FLOWER POTS

Many museum collections include not only paintings and sculptures but also objects of a usage character. Flower pots are present in almost every house and although sometimes they decorate the interior through their form, we usually put flowers in them. However, when they join the museum and enter the inventory book of artistic collections, they lose that function. A unique moment awaits you: in the interiors of Wawel Royal Castle you will see flower pots exhibited in accordance with their original function, filled with flowers. We combined their usage and museum functions but did not forget about conservation. In order to take care of the historic objects, they are additionally protected from direct contact with flowers and water. Inside the pots, whose edges are protected by a thin transparent coating, additional vases are put.
