Free November 2019

Free admission all month.
For conservation reasons daily limits on the number of visitors are in effect.
For the eight year in a row the Royal Residences – the Wawel Royal Castle, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Museum of King Jan III Palace at Wilanów, and the Royal Łazienki Museum – have teamed up to offer free admission throughout the month of November.

This is one of the biggest events promoting Poland’s leading historical landmarks and their museum collections. Its aim is cultural education, increased access to national cultural institutions, and increased participation in culture, especially by children, young people, and senior citizens. The program is initiated and supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Free November in Wawel Royal Castle

Admission to exhibitions only with free pass issued by the ticket windows in the Visitors Center
Tu.–Sat.: 9 a.m.–2:45 p.m., Sun.: 9:30 a.m.–2:45 p.m.
Ticket booth at the Herbowa Gate entrance closed.

The following exhibitions are available: State Rooms, Crown Treasury and Armoury*, The Lost Wawel, Meissen Porcelain in the Collections of Wawel Royal Castle
  • Tuesday–Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    individual visitors only, no reservations
    *Crown Treasury and Armoury – closed
Last visitor entry at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are issued for specific entry times and valid on the day of issue.

Museum closed on: Mondays, November 1 and 11

Individual visitors: free admission pass to exhibitions of your choice; one visitor can pick up passes for a maximum of 5 people.
